Shailen Sukul has been working as the Lead Architect on a long running SharePoint-based project at Microsoft called MASS. The MASS platform is a cutting-edge syndication platform built on SharePoint 2010 and based on the principles of multi-tenancy. It is leveraged by Microsoft Partners and Microsoft Marketing departments. Due to its high popularity, it was decided to leverage Azure for some of the most traffic-heavy operations while retaining the core logic in SharePoint. Shailen will talk about the real world challenges and benefits of being one of the first companies integrating SharePoint and Azure.
