Presentation Topic: Safely Managing the SharePoint Data Explosion
Sound corporate governance and compliance practices require that companies know when sensitive data (typically determined by corporate security policy and regulatory requirements from HIPAA, PCI, PII, etc.) is posted in corporate repositories and prevent its unauthorized exposure. The explosion of files and documents being uploaded to SharePoint from users across the organization has created the need to ensure that sensitive data is secured in SharePoint installations. Learn how companies are managing these data security issues, and what you can do today to start finding and securing data in SharePoint.
