Creating a Tenant (or Web Application) Level lookup field (using Managed Metadata)
Do you find yourself recreating the same lookup tables in different site collections? Often as administrators, we forget the power of the Managed Metadata field in that it is a field that is accessible by all sites in a Tenant (or Web Application).
Join us as we explore ways to use Managed Metadata as a “Tenant-wide” lookup! And while we are on the topic we can open the floor to discuss the other powerful uses of Managed Metadata!
Speaker: Harjit Randhawa
Harjit is currently an Office 365 Support Specialist for ExpressWorks International. Previously with Essention, he has worked in various financial institutions and government institutions to help customize and administer SharePoint sites over the last 2 years. He is a graduate from San Francisco State with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Since graduating, he has dove into the world of Office 365 and SharePoint and is eager to share what he’s learn and learn from others that are working with Office 365 as well.
