Creating a Time Off Request Application with Custom Approvals in Flow

This month Harjit will walk us through creating an example time-off request application using PowerApps, Flow, and SharePoint.

We will cover/discuss:

  1. Flow Approvals and their pros and cons. We will implement an Approval process using Custom Lists and Flows, NOT Flow Approvals
  2. Creating buttons in PowerApps that calls Flows
  3. Permissions management throughout an Approval process

Speaker: Harjit Randhawa

Harjit is currently an Office 365 Support Specialist for ExpressWorks International. Harjit has worked in various financial institutions and government institutions to help customize and administer SharePoint sites over the last 2 years. He is a graduate from San Francisco State with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Since graduating, he has dove into the world of Office 365 and SharePoint and is eager to share what he’s learn and learn from others that are working with Office 365 as well.
