Presentation Topic: Keeping Mission Critical SharePoint Systems Humming Along from Soup to Nuts

As SharePoint systems become more mission critical in organizations large and small worldwide, Technical Directors and SharePoint Administrators alike are now faced with the important task to keep the these systems humming along all the time.

In this session, Kenneth will go over considerations of planning, migrating, maintaining, and optimizing mission critical SharePoint systems. He will also share his lessons learned and industry best practices to preemptively and effectively address some of the common challenges encountered as a SharePoint guardian.

The session will also include an overview and demonstration of how Metalogix Content Matrix can facilitate a smooth SharePoint migration.

Speaker bio:
Kenneth Lo, PMP (@klopmp) is the CEO of Kattelo Consulting (@kattelo), which specializes in cloud, SharePoint, and mobility technologies. Kattelo tailors to business and technical requirements of its customers to implement solutions that accomplish complicated tasks in a simple and effective way.  Kenneth is a battle-tested SharePoint evangelist and entrepreneur with extensive management consulting experiences. Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Mr. Gerow held a variety of IT and application development roles for Heller Ehrman, Stanford University, and Intel Corporation. Charles Faramarzi-Rad – Senior SharePoint Developer

Charles Faramarzi-Rad was the technical lead for the www.fenwick.com project. Charles is currently a SharePoint developer for the Fenwick and West’s Portal Team. He was also a senior SharePoint developer at Synopsys, involved with the Synopsys.com project on MOSS platform. Charles has over 7 years experience with SharePoint.
