Abstract:
SharePoint allows site owners to define membership and permissions easily. However, it can be a double-edged sword if not managed properly. In this presentation, we will cover the fundamentals of SharePoint groups, permissions and inheritance. We will also share guidelines and best practices on how to manage site permissions. Basic knowledge of and familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office and SharePoint is assumed.
