Presentation Topic: Using ABBYY as an Adjunct to SharePoint’s Existing Search Capabilities

ABBYY is a 15 year old company that has been primarily known on the front end of the document life cycle – Data Capture. ABBYY’s OCR engine is used by over 100 partners powering their ECM and DMS solutions.  ABBYY has been in deep development on a new search platform based on deep linguistic processing called Compreno which will be introduced in the US early next year. The platform can be used as an adjunct to SharePoint’s existing search capabilities.
